With finals week right around the corner, stress is at an all time high. After concerns from many frantic students who were worried about finals week schedule changes, Deerprints decided to bust the rumor. So, we went to the assistant principal, Mr. Williams, and got to the bottom of it.

“We’re going into this semester with the same old practice, the same old schedule that we’ve had for years,” Mr. Williams confidently replied when asked about the rumor. Though the schedule has proven to be foolproof year after year, Mr. Williams has suggested there may be potential in a new schedule.

“I think it’s worth looking into simply because it’s been around for such a long time,” Mr Williams stated. When again asked about the rumor, he did give notice that there may be changes second semester.

“I don’t know where we’re going to be for second semester though. We’re in conversation about that,” Mr Williams replied, indicating a possible change for the future of many DHS students. Even though changes are anticipated for finals second semester, for now the rumor is busted, and first semester finals are staying the same!
